April was a very active month!
Because we're going to be going through Reinhart starting this month (May) for our produce, we tagged along with Princeton Garden (the kitchens where we produce our salsa; owned by our mother/grandmother) to the food show down in Green Bay. We had a great time, tasted some great food—and we'll be ordering through them soon to keep our cost down and for the convenience of delivery.
We had a meeting this month about expanding the business to more stores in different areas and creating new products like our Salsa Fresca—which has always been the goal—and we're very excited for the future!
We're coming up on a year being in stores this summer and we're so excited! Just as we expected, we've seen a slight rise in demand for our Salsa Fresca with the warmer days we've been having. In the next month, we know it will be even busier. Summer is on its way and we're excited!
And we posted a delicious new recipe using our Salsa Fresca—compound butter for steak or chicken or anything!
